I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel on this project...

Not really... this one's a black hole that seems like it's never going to end.

The deadline for the app is approaching and my clients are eager to launch it. There's one tiny issue though, we aren't at the desired amount of videos they want to start with. The videos are getting more complex taking longer to shoot and edit. It's going to be close, even when we launch, videos will still need to be created for the app making it never ending. I do feel though once the app is launched I'll be able to step away and work with other clients that want work done as well as continue beefing up videos for the app. It's been very time consuming and making it my number one priority dedicating most of my time on it, so much time my wife is a little upset that I don't spend as much time with her. I don't blame her but in this industry many hours of work are spent creating, whether that's preproduction, production, or post production it's all time consuming. Another issue I'm starting to notice is that I can see that the workload is becoming overwhelming to some of the guys I'm working on this with. It's important for the clients to realize when creating the bulk of the digital assets in the beginning phase of development that this is where the majority of the creating and workload happens. Once it's knocked out it's over and on auto pilot with little maintenance moving forward.

Staying Positive Is A Must...

Even when times look discouraging it's a must to stay positive and focused knowing there's an end goal to meet. The energy I give off is felt by the people I work around. If I see people I'm working with start to get frustrated it's important to not it let it rub off on me. Words of encouragement are a must, sometimes just stepping away for a minute to recollect ourselves is needed to be able to jump back in and continue moving forward. The industry I work in is very immense and most of the time the clients I work with have no idea and don't understand because they understand their industry, not mine. That's where I have to show and explain in a professional manner.
