This shoot was a maternity shoot I did in the summer of 2017 in St. Petersburg, FL. We decided we wanted to shoot the sunset on the beach to catch the oranges, yellows, and reds in the sky. On the way to our location it was raining a down pour, it wasn't looking good for our shoot but we stayed positive. As we were pulling up to our location the rain was letting up. We waited about 30 minutes and the rain stopped which was surprising. However, the sky was still gloomy looking and I was worried the client wouldn't be happy with a grey sky. As we walked down to the water and started to setup to shoot the sky on the horizon cleared up. It was unreal how it cleared up but all other directions of the sky were still grey from the storm. The pictures came out really awesome having the sky look the way it did. We definitely lucked out on our shoot.
